Give your backyard birds a place to enjoy their favorite seeds without having to compete with squirrels and larger birds!
The Backyard Essentials BE232 Squirrel Defeater features a sturdy metal protective cage surrounding a traditional tube-style seed feeder. The cage allows smaller songbirds to reach the feeding ports while helping keep squirrels and larger birds from taking over.
One of the things we really like about this feeder is its practical design. The clear seed tube makes it easy to see when it's time for a refill, while the multiple feeding ports and perches give birds places to feed at different levels.
The clear seed tube holds a generous 10 cups (2.5 quarts) of birdseed, meaning fewer trips outside to refill the feeder. With six feeding ports and perches, several birds can enjoy a meal at the same time.
Designed with Easy Cleaning in Mind
Keeping your bird feeders clean is important for the health of your backyard birds. The BE232 can be taken apart for cleaning, allowing you to reach the seed tube, feeding ports, and other components where old seed and debris can collect.
Features We Like:
Protective metal cage helps discourage squirrels and larger birds.
Multiple feeding ports and perches accommodate smaller songbirds.
Clear seed tube lets you easily monitor seed levels.
Removable components make cleaning and maintenance easier.
Durable construction designed for outdoor use.
Convenient hanging handle for placement on a feeder hook or hanging station.
A Great Choice for Smaller Backyard Birds
If you enjoy watching finches, chickadees, titmice, and other small songbirds, a caged feeder can be a great addition to your backyard feeding station.
Keep in mind that no bird feeder is completely squirrel-proof. However, the protective cage on the BE232 provides an extra barrier that can help discourage unwanted visitors.
A Note About This Feeder
