We also carry carefully selected feeders and accessories from trusted manufacturers including Aspects and Songbird Essentials, giving our customers an even wider selection for their backyard birds.

Q: What makes your feeders different?
Our feeders combine mid-century vintage glassware (like Anchor Hocking, Cris d’Arques, Federal, and Indiana Glass) with modern, bee-proof, and no-drip bases by Best-1 or Turbine Industries. Every unit is sealed with automotive-grade adhesive and built to handle extreme temperatures — from freezing winters to hot summers.

Q: Do your feeders attract real hummingbirds and songbirds?
Absolutely! The vibrant antique glass colors and refined feeding stations are designed to attract hummingbirds, finches, and other backyard visitors naturally.

🧴 Nectar, Seed & Maintenance

Q: What nectar recipe do you recommend for hummingbirds?
Use a 1 part white sugar to 4 parts water mixture. Do not use honey, artificial sweeteners, or red dye. Stir until dissolved and refill your feeder every 3–5 days (more often in hot weather).

Q: How do I clean my feeder?
Clean your feeder at least once a week using warm water and a gentle brush. For hummingbird feeders, we recommend our Best-1 Cleaning Kit — it includes both a bottle and port brush designed for small feeder openings. For occasional deep cleaning, we use a 1:1 solution of Clorox bleach and water in a small spray bottle. Spray the feeder surfaces, allow the solution to work briefly, then rinse thoroughly with clean water and allow the feeder to dry completely before refilling.

Q: Are your feeders bee-proof and no-drip?
Yes. Most of our hummingbird models use bee-proof ports and drip-free seals. Proper filling and assembly ensure optimal performance.

Q: Can your feeders handle outdoor weather year-round?
Yes. Each feeder is tested for long-term outdoor use. The adhesives and materials used are resistant to UV rays, moisture, and temperature extremes. For best results, avoid letting nectar freeze or overheat.

Q: Are all parts made in the USA?
Many of our products are made or assembled in the USA. Our handmade BirdFeedersRus feeders are assembled in Folsom, California, using vintage glassware, Mason jars, feeder bases, and other quality components. Many of our vintage glass pieces were originally made in the USA and date from the mid-1900s.

We also proudly carry USA-made products from Aspects and Songbird Essentials. Some individual components have a different country of origin; for example, Turbine Industries feeder bases are manufactured in China.

We believe in being transparent about where our products and components come from and will gladly answer any country-of-origin questions about a specific item.

Q: Are adhesives or coatings safe for birds?
Yes. We use CA Prop 65-compliant, high-grade sealants that are fully cured and safe for outdoor bird use once assembled.

Q: How long does it take to receive my order?
Most feeders ship within 3–8 business days, unless otherwise noted. Custom feeders or back-ordered items may take slightly longer. You’ll receive tracking information once shipped.

Q: What is your return policy?
We accept returns within 15 days of delivery. A 20% restocking fee applies, and the buyer covers return shipping. Returned items must be unused and safely repacked to prevent breakage. Once received in good condition, we’ll process your refund promptly.

Q: Can I cancel or modify my order?
Please contact us as soon as possible. Once your order has shipped, we can’t modify or cancel it — but we’ll always do our best to help.
